I am a PhD student studying Materials Science and Engineering at MIT. I am sublicensing a cozy bedroom in a 2B1B apartment at Edgerton House (MIT Graduate Housing). The apartment is located at a convenient location, about 7 min walk from from MIT's main entrance at 77 Massachusetts Avenue, and close to groceries (Target and Hmart), restaurants, and T-station at Central Square (less than 10 min walk). It is also about 2 min walk to the bus station where you can take No. 1 bus to Boston Downtown area and Harvard easily. There is also a blue bike station within 2 min walk.
The apartment is fully furnished and very spacious. It is 820 sf for the whole apartment and ~150 sf for the bedroom. You can check out the floor plan at https://floorplans.mit.edu/pdfs/NW10_3.pdf (Room 313). An immersive imaging is available at https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=7p7JBMZBsFT. The bedroom is fully furnished with a queen bed with mattress, study desk and chair, bookcase, and wardrobe. The apartment comes with a very spacious kitchen shared with your roommate who is a female student at MIT. It is fully furnished and equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, oven, and stove, and full sets of kitchenware and cookware. You will also be sharing a bathroom with your roommate. You will also be in charge of watering some plants to keep them alive.
All utilities are included in the rent. There is a range of amenities inside the building, including laundry facilities, bike storage, gym, music practice rooms, lounge, printer, etc. Please refer to http://eh.mit.edu for more details.
